Salad in a ship

Materials Required

Watermelon Toothpicks
Pen Cherries
Large spoon or Scope Round cuts of lemons
Long wooden skewer A thick slice of carrot cut into rectangular

Primary Steps

1.Choose a large, oblong watermelon to make a salad basket like this.
2.Cut a thin slice from the bottom to provide a stable base, so that it doesn't knock off.
3.Draw the outlines for the ship as shown in the sample image with the help of a pen .
4.Use a sharp knife to cut out the design you have drawn. Cut all the way through the rind. Remove the top section of rind.

To Proceed

1.Clean the watermelon and remove all the pulp with the help of scoops. Be careful while scooping, it should not break.
2.Fill the melon with fruit salad or any other salad, depending on the size of the melon.
3.Cut the sail (2) from a section of the rind you removed. To make it more attractive write the name of the ship like "VOYAGER" or etc...
4.Attach the sail to the ship with a long wooden skewer.
5.To decorate the top: take a thick slice of carrot, give it a shape of flag and then take a toothpick, pierce it all the way through the flat end of the carrot and put a cherry on the top.
6.Now put this over the sail.
7.To make the wheels of the ship: Take one cut of the lemon, pierce a toothpick to it and in the end attach a cheery. Repeat this with others & fix as many wheels that fit onto the side of the ship.
8.Keep it in the fridge to cool & take it out only when everything is ready on the table.
